The Hebron House meets the needs of the homeless men, women and children in Waukesha County by offering shelter, food and related services.
4 Shelters ~ 1 Mission
Imagine you walk into work one day and your boss tells you that the business has gone under and that you no longer have a job.
Imagine that you have 4 kids, a mortgage and minimal savings.
Imagine that your family lives 600 miles away and your parents are in a nursing home.
Imagine the bills piling up and no money left to pay them. Your kids are hungry and you are using your last loaf of bread and jar of peanut butter to feed them.
You don't know what to do or where to go.
That is where the Hebron House comes in...
1. We could offer you mortgage/rent assistance to buy you time to find a job and stay in y our house. You wouldn't have to pay it back.
2. We stock you up with food, diapers, toilet paper to help you get by until you can sign up for assistance.
3. We direct you to where you can get help looking for another job.
4. We provide shelter if you need to find a new place to live.
We do it all...without judgement...because that's why we are here and because people need us.
Over 1,000 people come to us every year for help. They all have a story and they all need something different, but the one thing they all need is understanding.
Your investment in the Hebron House makes a difference to your neighbor, your friend, maybe even your family. Your investment makes the community a better place. Your investment helps a human being.
